  • Weight is a useful secondary check but does not override chest / waist / hip readings.
  • Riders at the upper edge of a weight band with a slimmer torso may prefer the smaller size, and vice versa.
08 / Methodology

How to measure.

Body measurements are taken on the wearer in light layers, tape held snug but not compressed. Garment measurements are taken on the finished piece, laid flat. Report values in inches or centimetres — both are shown in every table above.

Chest / Bust

Around the fullest part, arms relaxed at sides, tape parallel to the floor.

Waist

Natural waistline above the hip bones, tape level all the way around.

03

Hip

Around the widest part of the seat, feet together, tape parallel to floor.

04

Shoulder

Shoulder bone to shoulder bone across the upper back, in a straight line.

05

Sleeve

Centre back of neck to shoulder to wrist bone, arm slightly bent.

06

Inseam

From the inner crotch seam down to the ankle bone, leg straight.

07

Hand

Around the knuckles of the dominant hand, thumb excluded.

08

Foot

Heel to longest toe, standing, on a flat sheet of paper.

09 / Production spec

Tolerance ± 0.5 in / ± 1 cm.

Production variation is held within ± 0.5 in (± 1 cm) across all garment specs. For closer tolerance, request a controlled-spec run with the order. Pattern grading is available between any two sizes.
